How it works

Four steps, start to finish

  1. 1

    List skills

Add the skills that matter for your roles, or import them from a sheet.

  2. 2

    Set role profiles

Mark the level each role needs.

  3. 3

    Connect evidence

Link quizzes, certificates and sign-offs to the skills they prove.

  4. 4

    Close gaps

Assign the suggested courses to the people or teams that need them.

Skill levels come from evidence you can see: a passed quiz, a valid certificate or a manager's sign-off.

Questions about Skill Map

The things HR, L&D and compliance teams ask us before they move their training over.

Do we need a skills framework first?

No. Start with five to ten skills for one role, see how it works, then grow the list. You can import a framework later if you have one.

Who can see an individual's skills?

The learner, their manager and the admins you choose. Access is set by role, and changes are logged.

Is Skill Map used for appraisals?

It shows what people have learned and shown. How you use it is your decision, and we recommend it is one input among several, never the only one.
